Director of Business Development

•    In depth knowledge of mortgage industry, mortgage backed securities, and capital markets
•    Strong rolodex of connections with investment banks and mortgage originators as well as demonstrated success in sales  
•    Developed negotiation and consulting skills
•    Mortgage Fulfillment experience preferred
•    Mortgage Due Diligence experience preferred

Travel: 70% (Travel to clients in the tristate area as well as Opus locations)


•    Oversee the procurement and growth of profitable new business opportunities through developing and maintaining effective key relationships
•    Ensure business growth by directing and managing business development activities in accordance with the organizational strategy
•    Lead the sourcing, managing and implementing of new business opportunities
•    Impact the profitability of the company through ensuring strategic and tactical management decisions and new business development results
•    Set up introductory meetings with new clients, conduct sales presentations, and coordinate follow up
•    Attend industry conferences to promote Opus CMC’s business development and technical expertise
•    Work with existing as well as new clients to develop and/or change scope of reviews
•    Oversee and manage initial jobs with Client to ensure smooth transition and understanding of client needs to Opus’ operations team
